East End Endeavour is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee and is managed by a voluntary Board of Directors. We (the company) generate income via grant funding, sponsorship and profit-distribution from corporate income.

Sam Paterson is one of yacht East End Endeavour's current owners, having purchased her from Clyde Sail Training Trust in 2005. We have an agreement with Sam to hire the boat for our sailing services.

Sam first sailed on the boat in 1982 as a teenager from the east end of Glasgow, then later volunteered as skipper's first mate. He is now an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor for Sail with commercial endorsement and holds a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups scheme) certificate. Sam is both the Development Director of East End Endeavour Ltd and Principal of recognised RYA Training Centre Rival Sailing.
